Workaround: Please uninstall Sneak Peek 1 before installing Sneak Peek 2. - Issue: Uninstall of PTC Conference Server (Windows only) produces a memory error if the Conference Server process (csd.exe) is already running.
Workaround: After the memory error is given, the Conference Server does shut down and the un-installation proceeds without error.

Workaround: Pro/Web.Publish functionality is not supported for Sneak Peek 2. This issue will be resolved in a future release of Pro/E Wildfire.
II) General Feature Operations
- Issue: For group patterns, modification of leader does not update pattern members. When a feature - which is part of the leader group in a group pattern - is modified, the change is not propagated into the members of the group pattern.
Workaround: Ungroup prior to modification. This issue will be addressed in a future release of Pro/E Wildfire. - Issue: Redefinition of sketched features at part level that contain assembly references may result in premature exit.
Workaround: There is no current workaround in Sneak Peak 2. This issue will be addressed in a future release of Pro/E Wildfire. - Issue: Attempting to create part level features at assembly level may result in premature exit.

- Issue: When working in Style feature, curves selected for editing appear as wide lines, which make it very difficult to see the interpolation points.

Workaround: Restart Pro/E and work with Interchange assembly prior to working with regular assemblies. This issue will be addressed in a future release of Pro/E Wildfire.
III) Selection
- Issue: Object / Action graphic selection can't be used when active model is different from top level assembly
Workaround: Use "Selection Tool" instead. This issue will be addressed in a future release of Pro/E Wildfire. - Issue: Reference Control does not work for features created by Object / Action
Workaround: There is no current workaround in Sneak Peak 2. . This issue will be addressed in a future release of Pro/E Wildfire.
IV) Sketcher
- Issue: On Windows, working in Sketcher mode, you may notice the graphics area appearing brighter and brighter as you sketch more entities.
Workaround: Make sure your graphics card is configured to run in 32-bit True Color graphics. Right click on your desktop and select properties. In the Display Properties dialog, go to the settings tab and look for "Colors". Make sure it says "True Color (32 bit)".
V) General Folder Navigation and Embedded Browser
- Issue: On UNIX, if you try to view a model using ProductView Express (PVX) it may appear that the PVX window is empty.
Workaround: Zoom out on the model in the PVX window to make it appear. The model loads with a high level of zoom. - Issue: If you retrieve a model from an HTTP site, generate a HTML Info (such as Model Info), and select the Feature Info icon inside the HTML Info, Pro/E Wildfire may freeze up.
Workaround: Use Top Level Menu Info or Model Tree to obtain feature info. This issue will be addressed in a future release of Pro/E Wildfire. - Issue: If you resize the width of the embedded browser, the embedded browser may not retain the adjusted width when it is opened again during the session.
Workaround: There is no current workaround in Sneak Peak 2. This issue will be addressed in a future release of Pro/E Wildfire.
VI) PartsLink Integration
- No significant issues.
VII) ProjectLink Integration
- No significant issues.
VIII) Design Conferencing
- Issue: Users are not able to Join a Shared Session that has already begun and successfully catch up to the Presenter.
Workaround: Ensure that all Attendees are present in the Conference prior to the initial Leader selecting Run, which will initiate the Shared Session. - Issue: While in a Shared Session, the File, Save operation does not write the file to the Shared Space. It writes it to local disk.
Workaround: The file must be manually moved into the Space using the Browse Shared Spaces dialog or you can use Save a Copy to get the data into the Shared Space - Issue: When performing a File, Open or a File, Save a Copy while in a Shared Session, only the currently active Shared Space should be accessible.
Workaround: Even though other Shared Spaces are available, please ensure that only the active Shared Space is accessed while in a Shared Session. - Issue: The following error may occur when attempting to launch Groove or the Conference Server:
Workaround: This error has been traced to a problem with old user account information residing on the local disk. In order to correct this problem, the following directory should be deleted: 'User Profiles\username\Application Data\Groove' Also note that the Application Data directory is hidden and must be shown in order to access it. - Issue: Groove installation automatically installs an icon into Microsoft Outlook.
Workaround: To remove this, hide the icon by using functionality within Microsoft Outlook.Issue: Large amount of information gets written into the registry during a Groove installation and the Uninstall process does not clean this information up.
Workaround: It must manually be deleted from the registry. To do this, select Start, Run, then type in regedit. From this point, perform an Edit, Find on 'Groove', then remove all instances that appear.Issue: The Groove uninstall operation does not actually remove the Groove loadpoint.
Workaround: The Groove loadpoint directory must be deleted manually.Issue: After selecting the PTC Conference Server icon, no feedback is given to the user indicating that the process has successfully started.
Workaround: To ensure the process has started correctly, open up the Task Manager and make sure that one csd.exe and one nmsd.exe process is running.Issue: When installing on a machine with a static IP and no domain setting, the installer is still writing
, (for example, boston.ptc.com) to proevconf.ptc. This means that the PTC Conference Center can't find the server.
Workaround: The proevconf.ptc file has to be manually modified to read machine_name only. This file is located under the/apps/proevconf/text directory. The domain name must be removed from this file.
IX) Photorender
- Issue: Updated Wall surface appearance sets to "Default" Material when another Room Surface is updated.
Workaround: There is no current workaround in Sneak Peak 2. This issue will be addressed in a future release of Pro/E Wildfire. - Issue: Assigning Texture to one of the room walls at the first stage gets assigned to all the walls if Color / Texture selected is already available in Appearance Editor list.
Workaround: To apply different appearance to different walls. Select desired Room Wall and Add "+" appearance from Appearance Editor invoked thereafter.
IX) Detail
- Issue: When picking through multiple detail items on drawings, unselected items remain in RED (selected color)
Workaround: Repainting the drawing will temporarily fix the highlighting issue.
- Issue: When deleting detail items from a drawing, the deleted items remain in the default color of the item instead of turning GREY. The GREY color indicates that the item will be deleted.
Workaround: The user may ignore this and select somewhere else and the item will be deleted. - Issue: When moving a dimension, the user cannot Flip Dimension Arrows concurrently during the move.
Workaround: The user can use the "Flip Arrows" option in the RMB Menus, but cannot perform this during a move.
- Issue: Unable to perform a feature redefinition from within drawing mode.
Workaround: Separately open the model in a different window and find the feature to redefine.
- Issue: When aligning multiple dimensions together, after the dimensions have aligned, the user can not move them altogether at once after the align even though they remain highlighted.
Workaround: The user can perform the action if they select on the dimension leader. The problem exists when selecting the dimension value. - Issue: Cannot find any 2D items using the Search Tool within Edit -> Find. Workaround: Some items have a workaround by using the Drawing Specific "Find in Sheet," but most do not.
