What is PTC Jetstream and how does it work?
PTC Jetstream is a cloud- and AI-native product collaboration solution to connect people, product information, and decisions—enabling manufacturers and product companies to move faster, catch issues earlier, and bring great products to market.
Collaborative product development is often fragmented across emails, meetings, file-sharing tools, and disconnected systems. PTC Jetstream replaces that with a dedicated collaboration layer around your product data.
Here is how it works. Teams create secure Rooms and invite colleagues, suppliers, and partners. Participants review 2D and 3D product data in a browser, comment in context, and use AI Room summaries to see key points, decisions, and next steps. Every comment is tied to a person, a version, and a point in time. For Windchill customers, Rooms launch from Windchill, and Room activity can be exported back to the product record.
The result: teams collaborate securely across company boundaries, with control and traceability intact, so decisions move faster and the reasoning behind them stays on the record.

View and mark up 2D and 3D data in the browser. Explore the structure, measure, and section 3D models without CAD software. Compatible with a wide range of file formats.
Contextual feedback & decision tracking
Comment on specific geometry or document content. For 3D, comments keep the view, including rotation, zoom, and hidden features. Resolve issues as you go and keep the history.
Connected to Windchill
Rooms can be launched directly from Windchill, versions are tracked across tools, and room activity can be linked back to associated product data in Windchill.
AI-powered insights
AI Room summaries condense long discussions into what needs attention, including decisions and who owns the next action, so teams can act without reading every comment.
