In this demonstration of Pro/NC turning, you’ll see that Pro/NC is easy to use, fully associative, has unmatched capability for creating programs on families of parts, and allows programming to different dimensional tolerance limits. The demonstration follows an actual customer scenario to create a 2-axis lathe program on a cast part.
This is a Pro/ENGINEER 3 Axis Milling demonstration. A product expert takes you through the simple process of utilizing the powerful 3 Axis capabilities in Pro/ENGINEER and the benefits inherent to parametric, associative models created in Pro/ENGINEER. Vericut is also shown for part verification and machining visualization.
This is a 5 Axis Milling in Pro/ENGINEER Demonstration. A product expert takes you through the process of utilizing the 5 Axis capabilities in Pro/ENGINEER and the benefits inherent to parametric, associative models created in Pro/ENGINEER.
This demonstration is an introduction to the Pro/ENGINEER NC Sheetmetal application and shows how the product automatically creates and optimizes toolpaths using standard and form tools.
Pro/VERIFY provides the capability to verify finished machined and molded parts. Combined with a laser scanner to generate a point-cloud, Pro/VERIFY allows the user to input the point-cloud and superimpose it on the original 3-D model. The system provides fit and orientation tools and then outputs deviation information graphically and in report form. These techniques confirm part and process accuracy, improving quality and identifying process deficiencies.
This demonstration shows why the Pro/ENGINEER Tool Design Option is the industry standard for mold tooling design. A core, cavity, and slider are created for a design part using the software’s automated parting line and splitting capabilities. The mold design seamlessly updates when large changes are made to the design part. Finally, the mold base library is used to begin the design of the full tool assembly and the detailed production drawings.
