- Is is possible to configure ThingWorx to use a proxy server for connecting to PTC's License Management portal?
- Policy dictates use of a proxy server for outbound communication of this type
- When online licensing (connected scenario) is performed for ThingWorx, the following error is received in \ThingworxStorage\logs\ApplicationLog.log:
[L: ERROR] [O: c.t.s.s.l.LicensingStateMachine] [I: ] [U: SuperUser] [S: ] [T: localhost-startStop-1] Unable to retrieve license from FNO server because Connect to fnoauth.ptc.com:443 [fnoauth.ptc.com/<ip_address>] failed: Connection timed out: connect
[L: ERROR] [O: c.t.s.s.l.LicensingStateMachine] [I: ] [U: SuperUser] [S: ] [T: localhost-startStop-1] Unable to connect to the PTC license server. Please make sure the LicensingConnectionSettings settings in the platform-settings.json in the ThingworxPlatform directory are correct. If your server is not connected to the internet please use the request file licenseRequestFile.txt created in the ThinworxPlatform directory to do a manual install of the license
