Together, we are committed to creating an environment where every Black employee feels valued, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

We act as a catalyst for positive change by partnering with leadership to influence policies and practices that support diversity and inclusion.
Empowering Black employees
We provide resources, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development to help our members thrive and advance in their careers.
Fostering community
We build a strong network of support and camaraderie among Black employees through events, discussions, and collaborative projects.
Promoting cultural awareness
We educate and engage all employees in conversations about Black culture, history, and contributions to foster understanding and allyship.
How is BE@PTC making a positive impact?
BE@PTC promotes individual and collective growth for Black employees through various programs and resources:
- Commemorating and educating employees about Black History Month and Juneteenth
- Organizing an annual Black Employee Symposium to provide an intentional space for creating community
- Supporting nonprofits, such as the National Society of Black Engineers
- Supporting STEM early career sponsorship and mentoring opportunities for underrepresented minorities, such as the Thurgood Marshall College Fund Leadership Institute
- Partnering with other ERGs, including Prism, to influence policies and practices that support diversity and inclusion
