Cloud as a Key Factor for SEG's Digital Transformation

Sustainability was becoming a priority for SEG Automotive, who, as a target project, adopted a cloud-first strategy to manage resource reduction. With massive structural changes within the company, it became an urgent matter to move to cloud PLM software and replace an existing ERP system and migrate to a standard PLM system. As SEG Automotive was already using Windchill, it was decided to standardize on this solution.

After splitting the structures of a huge corporation, it was crucial for SEG Automotive to create an independent, strong, and reliable digital infrastructure in a very short time. This required replacing the previous ERP system and migrating the PLM system to the cloud.
