Creo View: Loading and unloading reference components and associated Annotation Sets results loss of visibility of Markups and Associativity
Modified: 24-Oct-2017
Applies To
- Creo View 4.1 F000 to 4.2 F000
Description
- Loading and unloading referenced components and associated Annotation Sets results loss of visibility of Markups and Associativity
- Markups remain visible after unloading or hiding a reference component
- Markups are visible for components that are hidden within a Annotation Set
- Associativity between Markups and reference component are lost upon loading hidden or unloaded components in an Annotation Set
- Issue can be observed with the following workflow:
- Load a representation and for Markups create a Note with Leader, add a second Leader Line to the Note and create shapes of type Rectangle, Ellipse and Polygon) referencing a component
- Unload the component and the Markups with appear hidden except for the Note will remain visible
- Save the current view as an Annotation Set and the previously hidden surface polygon will now be visible
- Close the view and open the Annotation Set in a new view
- The hidden rectangle and ellipse on that unloaded component will be visible
- Load and unload the component and the surface polygon will remain hidden
- Open and load any default view and then load the Annotation Set
- The Leader Line, Rectangle, Ellipse & Polygon Shapes on that unloaded component are visible
- Load the unloaded component and the Note remain invisible while the Associativity between rectangle and ellipse Shapes and the component is lost
