Description

  • Creo goes offline with "Connection to the server is unavailable" when connected to a Windchill server configured for PKI, CAC, or Smartcard authentication when performing workgroup manager actions that use the Creo menus:
    • File > Check Out
    • File > Check In
    • File > Save and Upload
  • Creoagent.log reports NET_E_DOWNLOAD_FAILURE:

  • Note that 599 is not the HTTP server response status code but generated client side in this scenario

  • Note that while the server generates a 403 response code the client has already disconnected so this is never received, rather the client logs the above 599 response code
