Description
- NX 11.0 #Save action on an assembly containing WAVE links is causing a WAVE license to be checked out but, it is not being returned when the #Save is complete when connected to Windchill PDMLink via Windchill Workgroup Manager client
- #File #Save in NX 11.0 (connected to Windchill Workgroup Manager) of assembly containing WAVE links checks out a WAVE license and this is not returned until NX session is closed
- WAVE license is not released if Windchill Workgroup Manager session is closed
- Same happens for adv_assemblies license used to calculate the mass parameter
Note
- If user performs Windchill Workgroup Manager client HTML import (#File #Import to Workspace) to workspace in "headless" mode (i.e., NX not running initially) then, the WAVE license is released, not used after import
- If user performs Windchill Workgroup Manager client HTML import (#File #Import to Workspace) keeping NX session running then, WAVE license is not released
- Also, WAVE license is not released if user performs #File #Save to workspace from NX after opening data with WAVE links even so after closing NX data from session
- Only when user closes NX session is the WAVE license released
