Applies To

  • Windchill MPMLink 11.0

Description

  • Yellow Triangle for Downstream object in Manufacturing Associative Product Structure Browser (MAPSB) unexpectedly appears when configuring en effectivity in the Filter of the Upstream Object.
  • Consider following use case:
    • EBOM Part (Design) created without any effectivity
    • New Downstream Part MBOM (Manufacturing) created from MAPSB
    • Filter of Upstream side modified to mention an Effecivity constraint (keeping System Default in the Filter of Downstream)
  • In above given configuration:
    • Equivalence icon (Green Mark - existing and up-to-date) is identified as expected in Upstream tab
    • Equivalence icon (Yellow Triangle - no equivalence exists) is unexpectedly identified in Downstream tab
  • In big assembly structures where usage of an Effecivity makes sense for the TOP Upstream object, this prevent usage of Select Equivalent Object in Upstream Side in the children of the TOP Downstream Structure
Result of Above Use Case
