Description
- Unable to start Apache Tomcat service with error:
Windows could not start the <ThingWorx Service Name> on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 1.
- Unable to start Apache Tomcat ThingWorx-Foundation after updating Java version:
- Java version has been updated from 8u92 (uninstalled) to 8u221 (installed), on starting Tomcat it shows the above error
- Error in Tomcat stdout log located in <Apache Tomcat>\logs
