Description

  • Cannot create Connector in ThingWorx Flow
  • Getting Invalid connector. in the ThingWorx Flow UI when creating an SSL/TLS enabled Connector
  • Connector fails to be created in Flow with an SSL/TLS error when using a secure Application URL
  • Connectors > + > OSLC Basic returns an SSL/TLS error when trying to create it
  • ERR_TLS_CERT_ALTNAME_INVALID is seen when trying to create a Connector in ThingWorx Flow
  • ThingWorx Flow logs located in <ThingWorx Flow>\.pm2\logs show the following:
    • flow-api_out
      • {"module":"responseHelper","timestamp":"<Date Time>","level":"error","message":"{&quot;error&quot;:{&quot;message&quot;:&quot;Invalid connection.&quot;,&quot;code&quot;:&quot;INVALID_CONNECTION&quot;}}"}
    • oauth_out (set to DEBUG)
      • {"module":"OSLCConnector","timestamp":"<Date Time>","level":"debug","message":"Response : Error [ERR_TLS_CERT_ALTNAME_INVALID]: Hostname/IP does not match certificate's altnames: Host: <Hostname input in Connector>. is not cert's CN: <Certificate Common Name>"}

    • Windchill RV&S
