Unable to Federation between two ThingWorx servers

Description

  • It is not possible to create a Federation between two servers
  • After configuring the Federation nothing is happening
  • When trying to Federate two servers nothing is reported on the composer but the following error is captured in the ApplicationLog.log:
    • [ERROR] [T: NettyClient-NIO-54] WebSocket exception caught!, closing connection!
    • [ERROR][T: Client-EndpointMonitor-53] Exception occurred while connecting to server
    • [ERROR][T: Client-EndpointMonitor-53] Refilling connections on [endpoint 59, uri: wss://federatedserver.com:443/Thingworx/WS] failed : timeout waiting for websocket handshake to complete
    • [ERROR][T: Client-EndpointMonitor-53] Exception refilling connections was:
    • [ERROR] c.t.c.c.c.n.NettyClientConnectionFactory] [I: ] [U: ] [S: ] [P: ] [T: Client-EndpointMonitor-54] Exception occurred while connecting to server
