"Thickness" of Primary "Sheetmetal Wall" is greyed/grayed out when using user-defined sheetmetal template in Creo Parametric 11.0.

Description

  • Thickness is greyed/grayed out during creation of a first primary Sheetmetal Wall
    • This occurs when using a user-defined Sheetmetal Template that contains Cross-Sections in the Model Tree
    • If Delete these Cross-Sections then Thickness is accessible and no more greyed/out
  • Steps:
    1. Create a new Sheetmetal part based on user-defined Template
      • The Template should contains Cross-Sections
    2. Create a Flat Wall and notice Thickness is greyed/grayed out
      • It is expected have access to the Thickness field to enter a value
      • If using a Creo default template then Thickness is accessible
  • After Edit Definition of the first wall from Model Tree the Thickness is greyed out
