Description
- How to merge family table instances back into the latest version of the generic when they have been previously deleted from the family table
- Cannot UPDATE or CHECK IN instances of a family table that are not connected to the latest family table
- Documentation for restoring removed or deleted instances from Pro/ENGINEER or Creo family tables
- How to insert back in the family table an instance that was dropped throughout the history of the generic while both at the same version level
- For example, both iteration and generic are still at A (generic at A.15 and instance dropped at A.3)
- Cannot check in a part referenced by another one:
- Unable to create an instance because the name already exists in a previous version of the family table
- Flat part family table wrong version with flat instance removed from generic
- Due the circular reference existing between the generic and instance, after delete the instance from family table, the generic can't be added to workspace to maintain. How to add the generic to workspace and fix the circular refence in this case.
- I found a standalone part can become the instance in the later iteration. How does the family table create for that? I tried to merger a deleted instance back into a generic, but the deleted instance can't be add to workspace if the generic exist.
