Description
- New Timezone setting and related data migration scripts have been introduced in ThingWorx Platform 9. If not applied properly during Installation/Upgrade, there is a risk of data loss during upgrades or Daylight Saving Time (DST) changes.
- The PTC provided installer does not execute data migration scripts which leaves the ThingWorx schema in an inconsistent state after an upgrade
- While the Installer and the Documentation are currently being reworked, this article explains what to do depending on the context:
- Manual New Installation
- Manual in-place Update
- Installer based New Installation
- Installer based In-place Update
- The ThingWorx log has 8 hour difference from Local Server time (Apac)
