Windchill PDMLink: The "Executable Not Safe" message is returned when attempting to start WVS workers

Description

  • The Start Worker Green Flag icons are greyed out in the Worker Agent Administration UI
  • The Worker Flags in Worker agent Administration appears white instead of red or green
  • The worker flags and other icons (worker logs, etc.) are grayed out
  • Unable to start newly configured worker with the icon grayed out
  • Method Server throws the following error:
ERROR : wt.wvs.workeragent.ShapeType - Refused to start worker HOSTNAME-PROE:1, exe does not match any of the trusted prefixes
OR 
ERROR:  [CadAgent] wt.wvs.workeragent.CadWorkers  - The executable of PROE worker(s) on <Worker host name> (worker X) does NOT match any of the trusted prefixes.
  • Mousing over the flag displays Tooltip message:
  • Executable Not Safe

  • The CAD Worker has been installed and configured, but the worker cannot be started through the work manager with page error: Unable to start
    • But when proeworker.bat in the worker machine is started separately, the worker in the worker can be started, and the service of checking worker daemon is also started, but the worker cannot be started through Worker Daemon, and no output log is seen
