What is a manufacturing bill of materials (mBOM)?

It is essential for production planning and inventory management and provides the necessary instructions for assembling the product. The mBOM includes information on the quantity of each material required, the sequence of assembly operations, and other relevant details necessary for manufacturing the product. The different components in the mBOM can either be consumed, destroyed, produced, or disassembled by the operations group in the related process plans.
