Room Setup

Reference the room guide to the right with these room setup tips.

A - Choose a clean but interesting background. Avoid excess clutter or stark white walls. If you don’t have a clean background, choose a virtual backdrop.
B - Avoid mixing light sources–i.e. windowlight and desk lamps
C - Use a window as your primary light source if possible but do not sit with your back against it
D - Use headphones on conference calls and meetings when you can
E - Use a USB camera and position it above your eyes
F - Use rugs to reduce a room echo
G - Avoid rolling around in your chair when on camera
H - Don’t show doors in frame to help avoid accidental interruptions
